Remember those technical difficulties from last time? Turns out they are still being technical and difficult. On a project of this size we put a lot of effort into making the post production workflow streamlined and simple. As we have come to learn, it is being neither of those things.
The problem concerns the synchronization of video and audio. I have done this process manually for many years, this time however we opted for a hardware solution. I want to spare you the technicalities of the issue itself, but I will say that it's origin can be traced back not to one individual, but to a general inattention to detail that is all too common on a film production where one fulfils the job of many.
All things considered, this is not a film breaking issue, but merely a hiccup along the way. We could always engage in the process of manual synchronisation and we will if we have to.
